Hello and Welcome. My name is Sridevi. I am a Health-Life Coach.

What does a Health-Life coach do?

 

A Health-Life coach can help you achieve your health and/or lifestyle goals by being with you every step of the way as  you discover the habits that are stopping you now and replacing them with new habits that will help you achieve your goals and move forward.

 

What a Health-Life coach can not do is give you a magic pill or look into crystal ball for a easy fast solution to get you to your goals especially if you want the results to last. And a Health-Life coach is not a medical practitioner.

 

How can I as Health-Life coach help you achieve your goals?

 

  1. By helping you get to the root issues that are stopping you from having the health and the life you want.

  2. By giving you simple and effective tools that will allow you to take consistent actions to build new habits around your bodies nutrition needs and the lifestyle you want; lifestyle = physical, mental, emotional well being and your connection with the higher power.

  3. By being your accountability partner every step of the way who helps you turn the fears that are holding you back in to stepping stones that will lead you towards your goals.

 

What are my goals as a Health-Life coach?

 

  • To be with you every step of the way on this journey as you walk your own walk transforming your health and life to be the way you visualize it to be.

  • I am an empathetic listener  who cherishes “human moments”. As this entire journey is about “human moments”, I will create a space for you where you will be free to express yourself every step of the way.

  • I want to watch you fall in love….in love with food so that you can enjoy the food you are eating and be thankful for it. I believe in an “all inclusive concept” [carbs, proteins, fats] with every meal.

  • As a life coach, I want to help you find the clarity you are looking for and discover the answers that are true for you.

What are my niche areas?

 

These are my current area of focus - Weight loss, Blood sugar levels, Digestion issues, Energy/fatigue/anxiety issues, Allergies, Diabetes, Heart health and Aging beautifully.

What is special about the tools I provide?

 

Are you ready for this answer….we can customize them for your bodies needs. Yes, that is the only way they can work for you. All the tools will give some results for everyone but it is only when you adopt them to your body's and lifestyle needs that we will find out how effective they are for you. The best part is that you can continue to use the tools - those that gave you the best results and even those that gave you moderate results -  even after you have achieved your goals by adjusting them as you age gracefully.

Why the focus on habits?

 

“Champions don’t do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things again and again without thinking as they follow the habits they have learned”.

 

This holds true even for us as we do things again and again following the habits we learnt related to health and life as

 

  • Habits are powerful and strong and shape our lives more than we realize. 

  • The power of a habit is to create cravings based on cues with the goal of getting a reward. The more we give in to the craving the stronger the habit becomes.

  • It has been proven that 40-45% of the decisions we make daily are not decisions, they are habits.

  • You can never truly remove a habit; hence the age old saying “old habits die hard”. But you can replace them.

Do you need a Health-Life coach?

 

May be you have considered the possibility of asking for help with your health goals after doing everything that you could do and still not making much progress or may be you did achieve the results you wanted only to relapse. May be it has never occurred to you to ask for help. 

 

There is only one way to find out if working with a Health-Life coach is the answer for you.

What is the first conversation about?

 

The first conversation is free and will take about 45 min. It will help us 

 

  • Find out what’s been stopping you or slowing you down from having the body you want.

  • Develop a powerful vision for your body and life transformation, and what it will mean for you. 

  • Discover which foods and lifestyle habits are not helping your body and what you could do about it.

  • Get crystal clear on a step-by-step plan to create a Total Body Transformation in 90 days.

How did my journey to Health-Life coach come about?

 

I had healthy eating and lifestyle habits and I thought that I was doing a good job aging gracefully. Then 2 yrs ago, I had a flare up of eczema on my face; especially around my eyes. I could not understand the why’s and the what’s and went seeking answers. I did not find any that came close to explaining exactly what was happening. That is when I decided to research and experiment on my own. Since external remedies were not giving me the consistent stable results I wanted, I decided to start my “healing journey” from the inside. 

 

I started slow and came up with routines and added to them one step at a time. Routines that worked one week but did not work the following week. But I kept at it. It took me more than 2 months to start seeing results but that was enough motivation for me. I learnt the following in the process

 

  • My body is a whole system. In order to seek answers for one specific thing that is bothering me, I have to look at the entire system.

  • I learnt that my body was unique and what works for someone else does not work for me. 

  • Your diet has to change as you age, as irrespective of what you do externally, your cells will do what they are pre-programmed to do.You can help your cells along by giving them the essential things they need.

  • Experimenting and exploring slowly, allowed me to come up with solutions/routines that I can now use to control a flare up before it gets out of hand.

  • It helped me cherish the “human moments” more than ever as we have to celebrate these moments that make us who we are.

  • We all have choices to make and every choice leads us to exactly where we need to be. The good news about choices though is that, we can make new one’s and have them take us to where we want to go. We don’t need to feel stuck and think that we have come to the end of the road.

 

I am still learning about triggers that can cause a flare up and am still on my healing journey. But by looking at what I was eating and experimenting and changing a few things in my lifestyle, I was able to achieve my goal - consistent stable results - by walking my own walk.

The lessons learnt were powerful and I asked guidance on what I could to share them. The answer came in the form of Health-Life coach and so began this new journey.
